There are no hidden ghosts and no lurking figures in this painting. Just
the melancholy silent swamp, the swirling mists, an old churchyard slowly sinking
into the dark waters.
John V. had a vision, to the smallest detail, of how he wanted his painting to
look and feel, and he carefully conveyed that vision to me, right down to his
recommendation that I listen to Credence Clearwater Revival's "Born On The Bayou."
He conveyed his wishes so well that I could see that painting clearly in my mind's
eye before I ever put brush to paper. I received the following eMail soon
afterward:

Small Print size is 4.5" x 6.5" within an 8" x 10" charcoal-over-white double mat,
with rigid backing. This size is ideal for framing in any standard 8" x 10" photo frame.
Medium Print size is 7.5" x 9.5" within a charcoal-over-white
double mat, plus rigid foam-core backing, ready for framing in any readily available 11" x 14"
frame. Shipped Priority Mail.
Large Print size is 12" x 15" on 13" x 19" paper. After I carefully
inspect and sign your print, I'll slip it into its protective clear plastic envelope
and carefully roll it for mailing to you, together with a page of helpful framing

Premiere Limited Edition Print size is 18.5" x 25" on 22" x 28" paper.
This is one of a growing series of Limited Edition prints duplicating each painting's original size
in an edition of 150 signed and numbered prints, produced to extremely high standards on fine art paper,
through the Giclée process.
