"Ghost House" Deep in the woods rests this once proud house, scarred by the years, shutters askew, illuminated by a shaft of moonlight that filters through the dense forest canopy... and an odd light in an upstairs window. As the forest inexorably creeps in to reclaim its own, will the the house and its ghosts mourn its melancholy, solitary end? This painting employs a somewhat impressionistic technique I've previously used, particularly for my popular subject, The Homecoming. Several hidden figures lurk in the shadows.
