Two young trick-or-treaters brave the hill at the edge of town, pausing before
the mysterious mansion that now looms grotesquely over them. Is it imagination,
or is the house undulating weirdly in the evening moonlight? Strange lights flicker
from windows, hints of ghostly figures beckon to them. Hollow noises emanate from
the barred windows below, which glow bloody red in the last rays of sunset. Her
brother wants to ring the doorbell, but Jessica decides she's not getting any
